A solid foundation for a top-heavy device.

The Venty is brilliant — but it’s tall, top-heavy, and happiest standing upright. The Venty Stand is a simple desktop cradle that keeps it planted and display-ready between sessions. Designed by an enthusiast after running into stability issues with their own device, and shared free with the community.

Stable upright storage

No more propping it against the monitor or laying it on its side — the cradle holds it upright and ready.

Made to be seen

The Venty’s a good-looking device — the stand keeps it out on display, looking deliberate instead of left lying around.

Grab and go

Reach over, lift, set it back. A fixed home that keeps the device in easy reach all day.

Questions & answers

Can I sell prints of the stand?

Short answer: not for profit. The model is shared under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0, which means you’re free to print it, remix it, and share your own versions — as long as you credit the original and pass it along under the same license. The “NC” is the key part: non-commercial. Selling prints or charging for the file isn’t covered. Printing one for yourself or a friend is always welcome; if you’re looking to manufacture or sell at scale, get in touch about commercial licensing.

Which printer do I need?

Any standard FDM printer will handle this comfortably — the stand fits easily on a typical 200×200 mm bed. No exotic hardware required.

PLA or PETG?

Both work great. PLA is the easiest to print; PETG adds a little extra heat tolerance if your setup runs warm. Either gives a solid, stable result.

Does it need supports?

No. The model prints flat and as-is — no supports, no rafts, no cleanup. Drop it in your slicer and go.
